Santy Mito (Mexico City, 1993), has a degree in Psychology from the National Atonoma University of Mexico. Likewise, he has trained as a photographer and specialist in gender and sexual diversity with various courses, workshops and seminars at UNAM, UACM, Centro de la Imagen, ASILEGAL, El Albergue del Arte, and CONARTE. He studied in "Digital Photography" and "Design and Photographic Composition" (FotoClub Ingenieros), "Creative Photography" and "Photographic Portfolio" (FCPyS, UNAM), "Approaches to LGBTIQ Art" (UACM). He has had solo and group exhibitions in which he highlights "Beyond the morbid" (Fac. Psychology), "From Olympus to the Underworld" (Fac.Ingenieria), "Icon of freedom" (London), "The other look" (Forum) Cultural José Martí). Throughout his artistic career he has been awarded prizes and recognitions, won 3rd place in the "Instant Death" university competition (2013), honorable mention in the "50 years without Remedios Varo" contest (2014), honorable mention in the historical photography contest "A 55 years of the Degree in Psychology" (2016).
The axis of his photographic work is the corporal, psychological, sexuality, space and culture diversity, from a gender perspective.
