Wakefield Poole

Wakefield Poole has been a choreographer, ballet and Broadway dancer, theater director, filmmaker, and chef. His first film “Boys in the Sand” was a groundbreaking crossover hit in New York in 1971, beginning the “porno chic” era and was quickly followed by Poole’s 1972 film “Bijou.” Poole’s other films include “Wakefield Poole’s Bible” (1974), “Moving!” (1974), and “Take One” (1977). He is the subject of the documentary “I Always Said Yes: The Many Lives of Wakefield Poole” (2016).
